My post the other day combined with my new rekindled love for Pinterest has inspired me to post yet again about crafty, fun, coffee-related goodness. Winter break is just around the corner and I’ll definitely have some time on my hands. Maybe I’ll actually be able to try some of these goodies out! I’m also hoping this post will take my mind off of the fact that I forgot my money for my Dunks at home this morning… :(
Baking
Coffee cake is one of the most delicious treats out there. If you actually have it with a nice hot cup of coffee, it tastes that much better. I don’t know if I’m ambitious enough to tackle a recipe like Martha Stewart’s, but seriously, how good does that look?? Martha also has a recipe for Irish Coffee Cupcakes. It’s probably more appropriate for St. Patty’s Day, but they sound so good that I may not be able to wait that long. Beware if you are not 21!
Crafting
Baking is really not my thing, so I may end up opting for a more crafty activity, like making snowflakes out of coffee filters. This is genius! It was so hard for me in kindergarten or whenever to make my snowflakes end up looking circular. Having paper already in the right shape is so clever. I wish someone had thought of this sooner.
In-betweening
If I’m sort of on the fence between baking and getting my craft on, maybe I’d try out these chocolate-covered spoons. This one is actually really cute and such a simply perfect gift! The spoons can be used for coffee stirrers or for your hot cocoa. They make a lot and any craft store would have cheap little mugs to go along with them.

K-Cup Column 
your blog topic has the ability to branch out the most I feel. Coffee drinkers is one of the largest communities in the United States and you can maintain a strong following. Maybe in the future you can do a post on coffee statistics. How many prefer coffee to tea, what’s the record for most coffee consumed in a year.

I’m not a coffee drinker (Gasp! the horror!), yet I still have enjoyed reading your blog this semester. I think this is because you’ve managed to use the coffee angle as a way to talk about other things. It is subtle and quite clever, I wonder if you even noticed you were doing it.
Coffee is such a unifying subject for so many people that your blog really serves as a meeting point. I hope you continue writing it, I think it could develop into a very strong social meeting place.

I too am a coffee addict too and I think you’ve found a clever way to combine being an a coffee addict with new ways to use coffee, and appeal to all of the coffee drinkers out their.
Since your topic is about coffee my question is how much coffee a day you drink and do you have more now that finals are coming?
It used to be at least 2-3 cups a day. Lately, I’ve been sticking to just 1 a day. Today I’m feeling 2 though :)
I think the number one quality of this blog is coffee. It is highly valued amongst most Americans, and it is nice to feel a sense of connection with someone so that we know we are not alone in our coffee obsession. The blog is also very informative to the coffee community, and also fun to read. My one question is this- how much coffee does the typical American consume on an average day? I’d like to know if my 2 cups a day is average/above average/ or below average. Great job!
i agree that the first quality of the blog is definitely coffee, but what was intersting is the way the 2nd and 3rd qualities could be almost like an op-ed and culture blog that is tied back to coffee.
Whats the best place to get coffee? Dunkin or Starbucks? Or someplace else?

My question is: what are your thoughts on the new Dunkin’ Donuts arrangements coming to campus?
Well I’m a Communication major, so with most of my classes being in Ely next semester, I am all for having some DD in the same building. I haven’t actually seen the plans for it so I’m not entirely sure what it’ll look like, but I’m all for it!
